Greetings from the land of cattle. Hi, my name is Krys. I am a vegan mum living in the South with two sons. Arthur who was born 9/06 and Adam who was born 10/08. I love to cook vegan food and experiment with new recipes. I have a wonderful husband and our two rescued Pitbulls, Zeke and Maggie.
This blog is about food, gardening, and my family. I cook all of our meals. We eat from our garden and shop at the farmers market to support our local farmer. We eat all vegan, all the time. I strive to feed my two young boys well, balanced, healthy meals. We love to garden and try to grow and eat veggies from our garden year round. We very rarely go out to dinner. I hope you enjoy the blog and feel free to comment.

Its kool that you guy dont eat meat at all or anything that come from an animal because i eat plenty of it. Last weak i found this place that is a buffet where they bring you delicious meet on a sword that has been roasting over a open flame. that day i ate lam, chicken, beef, shrimps, octopus, fish, turkey, quail, gornish(game hen), alligator, goat, pork, and snake. I thank good for those wonderful creatures because they are so tasty.

You are awesome! I have a daughter (born 2/2008) and a lot of my supposed friends have insisted on proclaiming their negative opinions about my raising her vegan. I have been gradually amassing a collection of examples of other vegan parents, to prove them all wrong!

I just found your blog thru the The Rockin’ Vegan, it looks great! It’s amazing at how many vegans there are out there in Texas. I think that is so wonderful!
Vegan in Texas is like flowers growing in the middle of the sidewalk!
We almost always cook at home because there are so few options to go out to eat safely! As an adult I can adjust well enough, but with two 8 year olds…. that is another story. Any places you suggest?

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
