Yes, unicorns are vegan…..
Didn’t you know. I did. Hee hee. I made a cake Thursday for a dear friend’s daughter. She loves unicorns. So, for her 4th birthday she had a unicorn party. I made a cake, one dozen pink iced cupcakes, and 1 dozen purple iced cupcakes. Needless to say, the birthday girl was very happy. The picture isn’t the best. The colors were a hot dark pink, purple, and white.
We had our vegan Thanksgiving feast Saturday. It was lovely and very filling. Everything we could ever want to eat for Thanksgiving. All homemade and all delicious.
A chocolate pecan pie with sharks. Not to worry, no sharks were harmed in the making of this pie.
A happy little guy who loved the shark.
Little Bear decided that using chopsticks is a much more fun way to eat pumpkin pie than the standard fork.
We also had chestnut stuffing, cranberry relish, rosemary biscuits, homemade field roast, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, chipotle lime sweet potatoes, mushroom gravy, and of course the pies for dessert.
A plate full of Thanksgiving goodness.
I can’t believe it is almost December. What happened to November? For that matter, what happened to 2010? Hanukkah is next week. Christmas is around the corner and then it will be the New Year. Wow!
Well I am off to get the wee ones to bed. They have started an earlier bedtime. It seems to be working out well. We did a smooth transitions. Fingers crossed it will stay that way. Hope you each have a lovely week. Oh and tomorrow I turn the big 4-0. The boys are making and decorating me a cake. I can’t wait.
peas and love…..
